Professor Napoleon Moses

Professor Napoleon Moses founded Designed Learning Systems, Inc. in 1983 as a data gathering research firm to advise private sector and governmental clients on optimizing evidence-based research in their operations. In 1991, Prof. Moses also co-founded Invisions Corporation in New Orleans, LA that produced market-tested media. These firms merged and now operate from Washington, D.C. as Access Global, Inc.  Prof. Moses’ consulting practice uses data analytics and operations research approaches.

Prof.  Moses is an electronics engineer. His graduate thesis analyzed diverse impacts of ionospheric propagation of radio waves. His doctoral dissertation examined Japanese management strategies such as JIT and TQM, within the Deming model of statistical process control. His postdoctoral work includes developing threat analysis algorithms to minimize risks to organizational operations and data analytic algorithms for selecting “most feasible” industrial sites.

Prof. Moses serves as a confidential consultant using smartphone data collection applications that he developed.  His consulting also includes advocating for the concerns and interests of a select group of clients before Members of the U.S. Congress.

In addition to his consultancy, Professor Moses served as a tenured faculty member and dean of applied sciences, provost, vice chancellor, and chief operating officer for universities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Chicago, IL. He is married to his college sweetheart for 42 years and has two grown children and five grandchildren.
